A pesquisa se concentra na descoberta do potencial dos fungos endof\u00edticos, desde o desenvolvimento de novos antibi\u00f3ticos at\u00e9 a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de pigmentos naturais.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"pl-PL\">A partir de fungos endof\u00edticos isolados, que colonizam os tecidos da planta hospedeira, <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"pl-PL\">os cientistas obtiveram compostos com promissoras propriedades antibacterianas, antif\u00fangicas, antioxidantes e anticancer\u00edgenas. Tamb\u00e9m realizaram pesquisas sobre o fungo Monascus respons\u00e1vel pela produ\u00e7\u00e3o do biopigmento vermelho, muito utilizado na ind\u00fastria aliment\u00edcia.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"zxx\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"pl-PL\">O projeto BioExplor vai al\u00e9m da medicina, ingressando na \u00e1rea da biotecnologia industrial.
