Esta esp\u00e9cie de pato est\u00e1 em perigo de extin\u00e7\u00e3o, na Pol\u00f3nia no per\u00edodo 2018-2020 foram observados entre 100 e 130 casais, ou seja, v\u00e1rias vezes menos do que d\u00e9cadas atr\u00e1s.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">Mais de 90% dos criadouros de zarros-castanhos s\u00e3o viveiros de peixes. A principal amea\u00e7a a esta esp\u00e9cie \u00e9 a perda de habitat, destrui\u00e7\u00e3o de zonas h\u00famidas, reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o e regula\u00e7\u00e3o de reservat\u00f3rios, secas, bem como predadores, incluindo esp\u00e9cies invasoras, como o vison americano, o guaxinim e o c\u00e3o-guaxinim. Embora o zarro-castanho n\u00e3o seja uma ave de ca\u00e7a, a ca\u00e7a \u00e9 uma amea\u00e7a \u00e0 sua vida.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><span lang=\"zxx\">H\u00e1 um ano, os organizadores da a\u00e7\u00e3o trouxeram os primeiros esp\u00e9cimes dessa esp\u00e9cie amea\u00e7ada de extin\u00e7\u00e3o para a reserva de Stawy Milickie.
