Its goal is to develop and implement an innovative mathematics teaching model among engineering students.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The main idea of the project is to use cooperation between higher education institutions to improve students&#8217; involvement in learning mathematics, to remove gaps in mathematical knowledge and to develop an online model for teaching mathematics at technical universities.<\/p>\n<p>Mathematicians from the universities of Poland, Estonia, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and Romania are working on designing a mathematics course model for first-year students. They use information technologies and means of communication to increase the student&#8217;s involvement in the learning process.
