Langer from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144 invented and constructed a nanobiodetector &#8211; a miniature sensor that detects microorganisms. The small design is more sensitive than a dog&#8217;s nose. It detects milligram of drug in the pocket, designer drugs and lung cancer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Just a small number of microorganisms is enough for a computer-assisted system to provide their name and quantity in a few tens of seconds. The device can be used to check the quality and compliance of goods, discover counterfeit food and tobacco, detect explosives, drugs and even diagnose certain diseases.<\/p>\n<p>The nanobiodetector was created thanks to two projects of detecting biological contamination.
