PLN 5.5 million under the &#8220;Fast Track&#8221; National Research and Development Center competition for the development of ChitoVelum\u00ae Pro technology &#8211; a patented method of dissolving chitosan using carbonic acid.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The method developed at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Gda\u0144sk University of Technology is applicable in the agri-food industry. The company is working out an edible coating to extend the freshness of food products such as fruit, fish and vegetables.
