This new organization will be a platform for cooperation and communication between the university and the socio-economic environment. The opening of the Center was accompanied by a debate on the role of universities in shaping the quality of public life.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Cooperation and Dialogue Center was established to promote the academic achievements and successes of the academic staff and to make knowledge and university research resources available to a wide audience, partners and external institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The opening of the Center was accompanied by an expert debate entitled &#8220;In the age of widespread misinformation: the role of modern university and science of the 21st century in shaping the quality of public life in Poland&#8221;, which was attended by Prof. Marcin Pa\u0142ys, rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Anna Giza-Poleszczuk, initiator of establishing the Cooperation and Dialogue Center and Dr Anna Budzanowska, general director at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 24, 2019, the University of Warsaw (UW) opened the Cooperation and Dialogue Center.
