The university in P\u0142ock also has a new logo, which was presented to journalists.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The reason to change the name into the &#8220;Collegium&#8221; is because the new law on higher education recommended it and a word &#8220;public&#8221;, not &#8220;state&#8221; is more associated with universal accessibility &#8211; explained rector Prof. Maciej S\u0142odki. And finally &#8220;Mazovian&#8221; &#8211; because we are connected with P\u0142ock, where everything has always been and probably will be of Mazovian. Mazovian princes, Mazovian Refinery and Petrochemical Works, Tadeusz Mazowiecki &#8211; he added.<\/p>\n<p>The Mazovian Public Collegium began supplementary application process on September 2.
