Experts discussed on the influence of music on culture-forming and identity processes &#8211; on the example of the Polish anthem and the jazz from the 1950s.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Night of the Humanists is a regular event organized by the Faculty of Historical and Pedagogical Sciences of the University of Wroc\u0142aw. The theme of this year&#8217;s event was community and personal freedoms, their limitations and dependencies related to socio-historical determinants and cultural norms, patterns and symbols.<\/p>\n<p>Medievalists talked about the importance of Silesia in the politics of the Central European countries in the 9th and 10th centuries, and about how the &#8220;God&#8217;s Pure Word&#8221; was the mainstay of Silesian rights and freedoms under the Habsburg rule.
