The fifth project was called &#8220;Around the deserts of Oman&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Participants conducted research on the rate and magnitude of potential and actual evaporation in a tropical climate, took samples from the surface levels of soils for the needs of the created database and theses, valorized tourist routes as well as potential and existing geo-sites constituting the development of geotourism.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, they carried out the landscape research on one of the most characteristic elements of the landscape in this area &#8211; the valleys of periodic rivers (wadi).
