They will receive scholarships of PLN 220,000 for the implementation of their research projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The awarded students of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology are: Micha\u0142 K\u0142ask \u2013 for &#8220;Development of a method of orderly placing anisotropic nanostructures in optically active thin polymer layers and testing their optical properties&#8221;; Dorota Tomaszewska for &#8220;Non-linear conversion of the optical frequency comb into the mid-infrared spectral range for spectroscopic applications&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Grants were also awarded to Bartosz Uniejewski for &#8220;Forecasting wholesale electricity prices for the needs of risk management: The use of regularization and forecast averaging&#8221;, as well as Grzegorz Marcjasz for &#8220;Deep learning in probability, probabilistic forecasting and trajectory of electricity prices&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four students from the Wroc\u0142aw University of Technology have become laureates of the 8th &#8220;Diamond Grant&#8221; program sponsored by the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
