A dedicated computer connection between Hamburg and NCBJ will ensure a transfer rate of 100 gigabits per second (Gbit \/ s). The connection will be about 100 times faster than the current European XFEL internet connection with other research institutes.<\/p>\n<p>The project of installing a new fast connection for data transfer will include: European XFEL\u0431 NCBJ,\u00a0 German National Research and Education Network (DFN), Supercomputing and Networking Center of the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry in Poznan (PSNC), Scientific and Academic Computer Network (NASK) and Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron (DESY).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>European XFEL and the National Center for Nuclear Research (NCBJ) in Otwock-\u015awierk near Warsaw intend to establish the first ultrafast computer connection between Germany and Poland.
