She is one of three Polish scholarship holders this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SPIE is an international association for optics and photonics founded in 1955 to develop light-based technologies. It includes members from 166 countries. Every year, it grants scholarships to outstanding students who in the future can make a significant contribution to optics and photonics.<\/p>\n<p>The Toru\u0144 scholarship holder is on the first year of second-cycle studies in physics. She works in the CASTLE (Cold Atomic Space-Time Laboratory) group, deals with the search for dark matter with the help of optical atomic clocks.
