Jaros\u0142aw Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Higher Education, announced the start of the project “Polonia Restituta. Decalogue for Poland on the 100th anniversary of regaining independence.” The ten scientific conferences that make up the project are intended to deepen reflection on Polish history and the present situation in the context of independence.<\/strong><\/p>\n

– We came to the conclusion that in celebrating the 100th anniversary of regaining independence, the most important thing is looking into the future, thinking about what Poland should be like. My co-workers proposed to look at the past, present and future of Poland from the perspective of Catholic social science – said Deputy Prime Minister Jaros\u0142aw Gowin, announcing the inauguration of the conference.<\/p>\n

The President of Poland Andrzej Duda accepted the Honorary Patronage of the event.
