{"id":76602,"date":"2019-05-21T17:08:26","date_gmt":"2019-05-21T15:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=76602"},"modified":"2019-05-21T17:08:26","modified_gmt":"2019-05-21T15:08:26","slug":"university-of-warsaw-to-launch-polish-spanish-meetings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/university-of-warsaw-to-launch-polish-spanish-meetings\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Warsaw to launch Polish-Spanish meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On 21-22 May 2019, the Faculty of &#8220;Artes Liberales&#8221; of the University of Warsaw, the Spanish Embassy in Poland and the Cervantes Institute are organizing the second Polish-Spanish meetings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the two-day international scientific conference, the participants will discuss the situation of Spain in the time of the Versailles treaty, Polish-Spanish parallelisms in art and the life of Poles in Madrid during World War I.<\/p>\n<p>Invited experts include: Prof. Alfonso Bull\u00f3n de Mendoza from the University of San Pablo CEU in Madrid, writer and art critic Juan Manuel Bonet Planes, and Dr Jan Stanis\u0142aw Ciechanowski and Prof. Jan Kieniewicz from the &#8220;Artes Liberales&#8221; Faculty of the University of Warsaw.
