The initiator of the project was the vice-president of the Supreme Council of Nurses and Midwives Mariola \u0141odzi\u0144ska, who noticed that there is a lack of the department educating nurses and midwives in Ostro\u0142\u0119ka. She proposed then that local authorities, taking into account staff shortages, would take care of this staff locally for the needs of the region.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative was accepted by El\u017cbieta Lanc, a member of the Mazovia Province Board.
