The Festival will start in Bia\u0142ystok on May 20, 2019 and will be continued in \u0141om\u017ca, Suwa\u0142ki, Kleosin and even Vilnius, where there is one of the faculties of the University of Bialystok (UwB).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The motto of the Festival is &#8220;Algorithms of reality&#8221;. Prof. Izabela \u015awi\u0119cicka from the University of Bialystok, chairwoman of the organizing committee, emphasizes that algorithms are ubiquitous in our lives. They rule on Wall Street, manage medical devices, associate friends on the Internet, they can create information, but also spread disinformation. Algorithms also help to create a virtual world.<\/p>\n<p>The program of the Festival includes workshops, presentations, lectures, scientific conferences and discussions, as well as performances, competitions, exhibitions and music concerts.
