In 1953, she started working at the Institute of History at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw, where in 1960 she wrote her PhD thesis entitled &#8220;Pietraszow&#8217;s case&#8221;, and in 1971 she received a postdoctoral degree. In 1994, Wiktoria \u015aliwowska received the title of professor of humanities.<\/p>\n<p>Professor \u015aliwowska has published several hundred publications, including books translated into Russian, German, English and Spanish.
