They can get grants for preliminary and pilot studies, queries, internships, scientific consultations and conference trips.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr Ma\u0142gorzata Kapusta will carry out the project: &#8220;An attempt to identify motor proteins involved in the transport of the male reproductive unit in the May lily&#8221;, Dr Przemys\u0142aw Karpowicz\u2019s grant allow to run the project: &#8220;Development of a model for affinity testing of platelet-derived growth factor PDGF-BB with its receptors&#8221;, and Dr Agata B\u0142aszczyk received financing for her project &#8220;Research on the mechanism of antifungal activity of compounds produced by Baltic cyanobacteria &#8211; search for inhibitors of aspartyl proteases Sap&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>This is the last ranking list of the competition. 17 research projects were funded for a total amount of almost 560,000 PLN and they will be implemented at the Gda\u0144sk University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scholars of the University of Gda\u0144sk are winners of the Miniatura 2 call organized by the National Science Center.
