{"id":71383,"date":"2019-04-15T18:14:59","date_gmt":"2019-04-15T16:14:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=71383"},"modified":"2019-04-15T18:14:59","modified_gmt":"2019-04-15T16:14:59","slug":"polish-universities-join-the-international-research-project-on-dyspnoea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/polish-universities-join-the-international-research-project-on-dyspnoea\/","title":{"rendered":"Polish universities join the international research project on dyspnoea"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Medical University of Gda\u0144sk together with the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144 and foreign partners of the BETTER-B project (Better Treatments for Breathlessness) started a research in early 2019 to change the treatment of severe dyspnoea in people suffering from respiratory diseases, especially chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and interstitial lung disease.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>BETTER-B is financed from the EU program for research and innovation &#8220;Horizon 2020&#8221; and is carried out in a consortium consisting of universities from Poland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Great Britain and Australia and the European Respiratory Society.<\/p>\n<p>The project includes studies on the influence of dyspnoea on the quality of life, on various types of dyspnoea and on the improvement of treatment.
