He is a graduate of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and the University of Warsaw. He also completed specialist courses at the International Space University in Strasbourg and the Wirtschaftsuniversit\u00e4t in Vienna. In recent years, Szaniawski was the vice president of the Industrial Development Agency, and also an adviser to Jadwiga Emilewicz, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Technology. During this time, he was responsible for creating the Space Technology Sector Support Program in Poland and negotiations on Poland&#8217;s accession to the European Space Situation Awareness Program (EUSST).
