{"id":69047,"date":"2019-04-01T17:42:56","date_gmt":"2019-04-01T15:42:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=69047"},"modified":"2019-04-01T17:42:56","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T15:42:56","slug":"senate-of-the-university-of-bialystok-elected-members-of-the-university-council","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/senate-of-the-university-of-bialystok-elected-members-of-the-university-council\/","title":{"rendered":"Senate of the University of Bialystok elected members of the University Council"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The university council is a new body, introduced by the Law on Higher Education and Science, which entered into force on October 1, 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the 6-person Board of the University of Bialystok (UWB), the university will be represented by three people:<br \/>\n&#8211; Prof. Leonard Etel &#8211; Rector of the University of Bialystok in 2012-2016,<br \/>\n&#8211; Prof. Beata Izabella Godlewska-\u017by\u0142kiewicz &#8211; dean of the Faculty of Biology and Chemistry, member of the Analytical Chemistry Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences,<br \/>\n&#8211; Tomasz Zalewski, Chancellor of the UB.<br \/>\nThe members of the University Council from outside the UwB include:<br \/>\n&#8211; Piotr Horba, &#8211; director of the Business and Corporate Banking Center in Bia\u0142ystok, Santander Bank Polska,<br \/>\n&#8211; Robert Mucha &#8211; Sales and Marketing Director at Witra\u017c company,<br \/>\n&#8211; Andrzej Parafiniuk, &#8211; president of the Podlasie Regional Development Foundation.
