As part of the conference the university provides 4 thematic sessions: Pending independence, Modernization impulses in the Polish economy, Social changes at the turn of the century, Shades of Polish modernization.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, the participants will listen to over a dozen lectures and presentations, including a lecture of Prof. Wojciech Morawski (Warsaw School of Economics) \u201cIndustrialization and modernization.
