Thanks to their idea, the market has a chance to find a cheap and functional prosthesis printed in 3D technology and controlled by a special glove.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The prototype is the result of the work of students of automation and robotics: &#8220;Control of robotic hand control with the help of own hand&#8221; (author Pavlo Sutysskyi) and &#8220;Physical model of human hand prosthesis using pneumatic muscles&#8221; (author &#8211; Yaroslav Antonchyk).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The project was created for people who lost their hand. Most prostheses on the market are very expensive and only some people can afford to buy a bionic prosthesis. Our goal was to create a cheap solution, the cost of which would be around PLN 1000. Currently, our prosthesis model will be subject to further development &#8211; says the promoter and reviewer of the Opole students works, Dr Eng.
