{"id":64701,"date":"2019-03-05T18:54:50","date_gmt":"2019-03-05T17:54:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=64701"},"modified":"2019-03-05T18:54:50","modified_gmt":"2019-03-05T17:54:50","slug":"torun-researchers-to-participate-in-an-international-team-creating-new-sky-maps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/torun-researchers-to-participate-in-an-international-team-creating-new-sky-maps\/","title":{"rendered":"Toru\u0144 researchers to participate in an international team creating new sky maps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dr Magdalena Kunert-Bajraszewska and Carole Roskowi\u0144ski from the Center of Astronomy of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toru\u0144 will participate in an international team of astronomers who has just published new sky maps showing hundreds of thousands of previously unknown galaxies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Data from the first phase of the new, great sky radio survey of unprecedented sensitivity, realized with the LOFAR interferometer (The LOw Frequency ARray), have just been published by a team of over 200 astronomers from 18 countries.
