Their work can revolutionize the agro-technical industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The aim of the joint project is to develop a fast, effective and cheap method of eradication of bacterial pathogens responsible for diseases of cultivated and ornamental plants. The experiments are carried out using potatoes, chicory and hyacinths as model plants.<\/p>\n<p>By &#8220;treating&#8221; plants, scientists use a so-called &#8220;tripod&#8221; mounted on a tripod. a plasma pen that generates a cone of cold atmospheric plasma, several centimeters long and only a few millimeters thick. This allows precise destruction of bacteria in the infected part of the plant.
