He was selected through an open competition from over 2,000 Polish graduates.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Fulbright program is the largest program of scientific and cultural exchange in the United States. It is considered by many to be one of the most prestigious exchange programs in the world. For over 70 years, it has supported cooperation for the development of science, culture and interpersonal and interinstitutional relations between the United States and over 160 countries.<\/p>\n<p>Mateusz \u015awietlicki, specialist on America and Ukraine issues, is a doctor of humanities in the field of literary studies at the Wroc\u0142aw University.
