A researcher from the Department of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Lodz is working in the Sibundoy Valley, in the southern part of Colombia.<\/p>\n<p>In the valleys of the Putumayo and San Francisco rivers, scientists from \u0141\u00f3d\u017a and cooperating with them natives found dozens of flowering orchids, among others Cryptocentrum lehmannii, Trigonochilum porrigens.<\/p>\n<p>The &#8220;Biodiversitatis&#8221; Foundation, which is a non-profit organization supporting the protection of biodiversity and the Faculty of Biology and Environmental Protection of the University of Lodz declared their willingness to create a research station in the Sibundoy valley.
