They will receive a total of 150,000 PLN from the National Science Center.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The aim of the Dr Aleksandra Grudniewska\u2019s project is the use of natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES &#8211; natural deep eutectic solvents) to isolate bioactive compounds, mainly flavonoids from by-products of the brewing industry.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Tomasz Janek will try to explain the mechanisms of action of metal complexes with lipopetide biosurfactants produced by bacteria of the genus Pseudomonas and Bacillus on the main virulence factors of Candida.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Kamil Sier\u017cant will check if it is possible to improve the fatty acid profile in the meat of broiler chickens (including increasing the omega-3 fatty acid content with omega-6 reduction) with simultaneous improvement of the oxidative stability of this meat.<br \/>\nMore: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glos.upwr.edu.pl\/aktualnosci\/48879\/miniatura_2_granty_for_naukowcow_upwr.html\">http:\/\/www.glos.upwr.edu.pl\/aktualnosci\/48879\/miniatura_2_granty_for_naukowcow_upwr.html<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scientists of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Environmental and Life Sciences have obtained grants from the Miniatura 2 program.
