According to the agreement, the efficiency of the panels will now be tested in the university’s laboratories.

An automated production line is based on SWTC technology and operates in the plant located in the Bydgoszcz Technological Park. In this technology, cell connections are applied at a lower temperature (140 ° C) than the soldering process in traditional stringer (230-300 ° C) photovoltaic modules used in buss-bar or multi wire technology. As a result, SWCT induces lower thermo-mechanical pressure on the solar cell, reducing its brittleness and ensuring a longer service life.

University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz (UTP) has signed a cooperation agreement with the company dealing with the processing of plastics and the production of photovoltaic panels by the company Hanplast Ltd.
