{"id":51184,"date":"2018-12-10T17:34:33","date_gmt":"2018-12-10T16:34:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=51184"},"modified":"2018-12-10T17:34:33","modified_gmt":"2018-12-10T16:34:33","slug":"researcher-of-the-medical-university-of-gdansk-received-the-bekker-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/researcher-of-the-medical-university-of-gdansk-received-the-bekker-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"Researcher of the Medical University of Gda\u0144sk received the Bekker scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dr Marlena Zy\u015bk, assistant professor of the Department of Molecular Medicine at the Department of Clinical Biochemistry at the Medical University of Gda\u0144sk, received the Bekker scholarship from the National Academic Exchange Agency.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The scholarship will allow the scientist from the Gda\u0144sk university to spend 12 months at the University of Uppsala (Sweden) to implement the project &#8220;The role of immune-reactive astrocytes in the progression of Alzheimer&#8217;s disease&#8221;. Dr Zy\u015bk will conduct research together with a team of Prof. Anna Erlandsson (Molecular Geriatrics \/ Rudbeck Laboratory).<\/p>\n<p>The research project is a continuation of scientific cooperation between Dr Zy\u015bk and Prof. Erlandsson launched in 2016 during her first research scholarship at the Molecular Geriatrics.
