Art and Attachment&#8221;, based on a new, unpublished book by this outstanding American critic and theoretician of literature.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The lecture will be delivered on December 7 in the Nehring Room (library reading room) at the Institute of Polish Philology at Nankier Square 15. The organizers provide simultaneous interpretation.<\/p>\n<p>Rita Felski was born in Birmingham, in a family of emigrants (father was a Pole, mother was a Czech). She worked at universities in Australia, the United States, and recently in Denmark. She deals with feminist criticism, concepts of modernism, postmodernism and avant-garde, a phenomenon of reception of literature and literary criticism.
