A PLN billion was allocated for this purpose. The competition is implemented as part of three paths adapted to the size and potential of the university.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of the &#8220;Integrated University Programs&#8221; Deputy Prime Minister &#8211; Minister of Science and Higher Education Jaros\u0142aw Gowin handed symbolic checks to the Rectors of seven public universities in Krakow: Akademia G\u00f3rniczo-Hutnicza, Academy of Physical Education, Academy of Fine Arts, Jagiellonian University, Pedagogical University, University of Agriculture and Cracow University of Technology. In total, they received over PLN 121 million.<\/p>\n<p>The two paths of the program are addressed to the largest universities and public and non-public high schools and PLN 605 million were distributed within these paths.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2018, a competition under the first program path will be settled, where public and non-public institutions could participate if they educate at least 200 people and obtain a positive evaluation of the education of the State Accreditation Committee.<br \/>\nThe aim of the &#8220;Integrated University Programs&#8221; project is to increase teaching excellence, improve cooperation between science and business, increase internationalization and change the organizational structure.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; These goals may result from specific developmental needs, may be a response to deficits that have been exposed by the new algorithm, may also help individual universities to position themselves in the context of the Act on Science and Higher Education, &#8211; emphasized Deputy Prime Minister Jaros\u0142aw Gowin in May 2017, when he announced the start of the program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Science and Higher Education in cooperation with the National Center for Research and Development since 2017 runs one of the largest projects on higher education &#8220;University Integrated Programs&#8221;.
