The application was consulted by Pawe\u0142 Migdal, PhD student at the University of Life Sciences in Wroc\u0142aw.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The application uses a photo taken with an Android smartphone of bee frame removed from a beehive. After sending it to the server, the artificial intelligence algorithm informs scientists about the number of bees. The application will also help in diagnosing varroasis &#8211; one of the biggest threats to bees. Information from the hive is processed and within a few seconds ziBees provides the beekeeper with information about the infection.<\/p>\n<p>Varroasis is a dangerous and widespread disease of bees caused by the parasite Varroa destructor.
