{"id":340587,"date":"2024-03-28T10:19:31","date_gmt":"2024-03-28T09:19:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=340587"},"modified":"2024-03-28T10:19:31","modified_gmt":"2024-03-28T09:19:31","slug":"dr-wieslaw-rozlucki-awarded-an-honorary-doctorate-by-the-warsaw-school-of-economics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/dr-wieslaw-rozlucki-awarded-an-honorary-doctorate-by-the-warsaw-school-of-economics\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr Wieslaw Roz\u0142ucki awarded an honorary doctorate by the Warsaw School of Economics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Wieslaw Roz\u0142ucki, one of the main founders of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and its first president, a graduate of the Faculty of Foreign Trade of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGPiS) and a doctor of economic geography (PAN), was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) for his special contribution to the development of the Polish economy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The laudation on this occasion was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ma\u0142gorzata Zaleska, Director of the Institute of Banking, Economic and Social College of SGH, as well as the supervisor in the procedure for awarding the honoris causa doctorate to Dr. Wies\u0142aw Roz\u0142ucki.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;The awarding of the title of doctor honoris causa to Wies\u0142aw Roz\u0142ucki is connected primarily with his contribution to the establishment and development of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and thus the development of a modern market economy in Poland.
