Cement is the primary, most emissive and most expensive component of concrete and every manufacturer is trying to develop a solution that will reduce its consumption while maintaining its strength.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;I knew from the beginning that I wanted to be concerned with reducing the amount of cement in concrete. Because cement is the most emission-intensive component of concrete and virtually every manufacturer is looking for a way to reduce its presence in their products.
