{"id":339833,"date":"2024-03-25T09:37:25","date_gmt":"2024-03-25T08:37:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=339833"},"modified":"2024-03-25T09:37:25","modified_gmt":"2024-03-25T08:37:25","slug":"quantum-pact-signed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/quantum-pact-signed\/","title":{"rendered":"Quantum Pact signed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digitization Krzysztof Gawkowski and Minister of Science Dariusz Wieczorek signed on behalf of the Republic of Poland the Quantum Pact, a document strengthening European cooperation for the development of a world-class quantum technology ecosystem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The European Declaration on Quantum Technologies (Quantum Pact) is a document developed under the leadership of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, which emphasizes the strategic importance of quantum technologies for the EU&#8217;s competitiveness in the areas of science and industry, and advocates cooperation for the development of a world-class quantum technology ecosystem in Europe.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To date, the Quantum Pact has been signed by 18 countries: Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden. Now Poland has joined the group.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The signatories of the declaration recognize the strategic importance of quantum technologies for the EU&#8217;s scientific and industrial competitiveness, and pledge to cooperate in the development of the quantum technology ecosystem across Europe.
