This innovative solution has already helped more than a dozen patients.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The novelty of the implants developed by the team of scientists lies in the fact that they are manufactured from bioresorbable and bone-forming materials, i.e. they grow over bone tissue. The material is developed and manufactured by a team of scientists from the Pozna\u0144 University of Technology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;My role is to model the patient&#8217;s anatomical structures. Since our implants are personalised, my work always starts with the results of the CT scan. On their basis, with the help of specialised software, I develop a virtual anatomical model, and then Professor Wyle\u017co\u0142, using the haptic modelling technique, creates a model of the implant filling the defect, adjusted to the curvature of the given bone&#8221;, explains Dr Eng.
