The participants were tasked with designing affordable housing facilities in Los Angeles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Affordable Housing Challenge is an international competition organised by the Buildner platform in collaboration with Archive Books. The challenge is to develop designs for affordable housing solutions in a specific location. This one is different in each edition. The protagonist of the latest edition of the competition was Los Angeles, struggling with soaring rents, gentrification and expensive homes.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A project by female PW students called T.R.U. (Thrive Revive Unite) embodies the ideas of development, revitalisation and unity.
