{"id":334728,"date":"2024-02-27T09:31:18","date_gmt":"2024-02-27T08:31:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=334728"},"modified":"2024-02-27T09:31:18","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T08:31:18","slug":"researcher-from-the-university-of-life-sciences-in-wroclaw-receives-a-grant-from-the-innovation-centre-of-the-central-bohemian-region","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/researcher-from-the-university-of-life-sciences-in-wroclaw-receives-a-grant-from-the-innovation-centre-of-the-central-bohemian-region\/","title":{"rendered":"Researcher from the University of Life Sciences in Wroc\u0142aw receives a grant from the Innovation Centre of the Central Bohemian Region"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr Rados\u0142aw Zajdel from the Wroc\u0142aw University of Life Sciences has been awarded a MERIT grant for the &#8216;BIG4&#8217; project, which aims to explore the full potential of using GNSS technology for precision geodetic research and monitoring of changes occurring on Earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Implemented in cooperation with the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam, the grant will enable Dr Zajdel to work for 30 months at the Pecn\u00fd Geodetic Observatory in the Czech Republic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The project &#8216;BIG4 &#8211; Benefits of GNSS Integration for Geodesy, Geophysics and Geodynamics&#8217; focuses on the use of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS), such as GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou (BDS), to improve the accuracy of Earth observations and the provision of global geodetic reference systems.
