Brzezinski, US Ambassador to Poland.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lecture, entitled &#8216;The NATO Generation&#8217;, to be delivered by the US Ambassador, will begin in the auditorium of the Old Library, 26\/28 Krakowskie Przedmie\u015bcie Street, at 5 pm and will be presented in Polish. A question-and-answer session will be held in English.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mark F. Brzezinski is a lawyer by training. He served on the National Security Council under President Bill Clinton from 1999 to 2001. He was a foreign policy advisor to Barack Obama&#8217;s presidential campaign. From 2011 to 2015, he served as US ambassador to Sweden.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He first came to Warsaw on a Fulbright scholarship in 1991 to conduct research on the Constitutional Court. In 2019, he was awarded the Officer&#8217;s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 22 December 2021, he was appointed as US ambassador to Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 20 February, the University of Warsaw (UW) will host a meeting with Mark F.
