She is a graduate of the University of Malta. She was Secretary General of the European Democrat Students Association from 2002 to 2003.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After Malta&#8217;s accession to the European Union, she worked in the Permanent Representation as a legal specialist. In 2013, she was elected as a Member of the European Parliament. In November 2020, she became the first Vice-President of the institution and has held the position of President of the European Parliament since January 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting in English, combined with a debate with students, will begin at 14.15 in the Column Hall of the UW History Department on the UW campus at Krakowskie Przedmie\u015bcie in Warsaw.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 15 February 2024, the University of Warsaw (UW) will host a meeting with Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament.
