The main topic of discussion was the challenges facing the higher vocational education sector in Poland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the meeting, the subject of planned amendments to the Act on Higher Education and Science was discussed. &#8220;We want to talk to representatives of various mililieus in order to get to know your perspective on the functioning of the Act and to listen to voices saying what should be changed in it&#8221;, said Minister Dariusz Wieczorek.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the Ministry of Science, the need to strengthen the links between vocational education and business, cooperation with the Polish Accreditation Committee, and the topic of mechanisms for financing public vocational universities were also raised.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Conference of Rectors of Public Vocational Schools is an association of rectors representing Polish public vocational schools.
