The grants will enable the university to further contribute to global achievements in the field of astronomy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The SPUB grant of more than PLN 600,000 will allow the university to cover the maintenance costs of its current apparatus, which is currently located at the so-called telescope farm in Chile.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The &#8216;Centres of Scientific and Technological Excellence at the University of Zielona G\u00f3ra&#8217; project under RID will be implemented in four disciplines: automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technology; mechanical engineering; astronomy; and physical sciences. The above project has received funding of more than PLN 13 million.
