{"id":329597,"date":"2024-01-30T20:47:21","date_gmt":"2024-01-30T19:47:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polishscience.pl\/?p=329597"},"modified":"2024-01-30T20:47:21","modified_gmt":"2024-01-30T19:47:21","slug":"chatbot-that-recognises-mental-disorders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.polishscience.pl\/en\/chatbot-that-recognises-mental-disorders\/","title":{"rendered":"Chatbot that recognises mental disorders"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Patrycja Machno, currently a fifth-year medical student at the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow, Poland, and Zofia Smole\u0144, a data science student at \u00c9cole Polytechnique in Paris, have created a chatbot, a tool using artificial intelligence, which recognises mental disorders and helps find their solution by pointing out not only the right specialist with the most experience in treating these problems, but also the method of therapy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MindMatch is an AI-based chatbot that allows anyone to find a psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist or sexologist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It uses artificial intelligence to recognise the symptoms of mental disorders in a patient&#8217;s description of emotions, and then matches the most appropriate therapy styles and psychotherapeutic streams.
