We are aiming to reach the level of the European average&#8221;, declared the head of the Ministry of Science.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minister Dariusz Wieczorek emphasised that the strengthening of the role of the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBiR) will enable more effective spending on scientific research. &#8220;We want to use the effects of the work of the entire scientific community in practice. We are planning to organise and strengthen the NCBiR. A bill to this effect has been submitted&#8221;, he informed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The head of the Ministry of Science also announced work on the new scoring of journals, which will be conducted in cooperation with the Commission for the Evaluation of Science.
