Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology (PWr) will cooperate with Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland. Research and development projects are planned, as well as the training of students in new technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n

The agreement will allow the university’s students to participate in an internship programme at Mercedes-Benz’s state-of-the-art plant in Jawor. It has been developed by specialists from Mercedes-Benz Manufacturing Poland and the PWr branch in Legnica and will allow its participants to prepare for the requirements of the labour market, gain the necessary experience and make it possible to use the knowledge already possessed in practice.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The plant in Jawor is particularly interested in cooperation with branches of the Wroc\u0142aw University of Science and Technology. This is because they are mainly attended by young people from the surrounding areas, for whom a job in such a company, but located outside large agglomerations, is an attractive offer”, says Dr Tadeusz Lewandowski, director of the Legnica branch of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, the initiator of the cooperation on the part of the university.<\/span><\/p>\n
