The objective of the competition was to select the best diploma theses, whose results can be applied to road construction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the Road Materials and Technologies category, the 1st place was won by Miko\u0142aj Jonik from the Gda\u0144sk University of Technology for his thesis &#8216;Analysis of physical and mechanical properties of deep recycling mixes stabilised by hydraulic binders with new generation additives&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the Traffic Engineering category, the winner was Maciej W\u00f3jcik of the Warsaw University of Technology, author of the paper &#8216;Analysis of the impact of the construction of expressways on the development of local bus transport&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the category Road Engineering Objects, 1st place was awarded to Jan Szymon Chmieli\u0144ski and Miko\u0142aj Miros\u0142aw Jemielniak from the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krak\u00f3w for their thesis &#8216;Analysis of the stability of a road tunnel portal in conditions of the Carpathian flysch&#8217;.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways decided on the third competition of Innovations in Road Engineering.
