Four scientists from the Lublin University of Technology will receive a total of nearly PLN 4.8 million for the implementation of their innovative projects and managing their own research team.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The awarded projects are: &#8220;Development of technology for increasing the aerodynamic performance of rotorcraft&#8221; by Eng Ksenia Siadkowska, PhD student at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; &#8220;The use of functional zeolite structures for the production of asphalt mixtures in the asphalt foaming process&#8221; \u2013 by Dr Eng Agnieszka Woszuk from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture; &#8220;New technology of plastic forming of hollow products with flanges for the mining industry&#8221; \u2013 by Dr Eng Grzegorz Winiarski from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering; &#8220;The production of ultrapure zeolites and mesoporous siliceous materials from fly ashes for selected environmental applications&#8221; &#8211; by Rafa\u0142 Panek, MA, from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The National Center for Research and Development announced the winners of the 9th LIDER competition. 51 scientists will receive a total of approximately PLN 60 million.
