The study is part of the international project &#8216;Disrupted Routines&#8217;, an ad hoc initiative undertaken by members of the Sociology of Consumption section of the European Sociological Association in response to the energy and social crisis caused by the war in Ukraine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Are burning a candle and a mug of warm drink effective methods of heating? From the publication &#8216;Disrupted routines. A research report on everyday life in an energy crisis&#8217;, prepared by sociologists from Poznan, shows that many of us took them into account last winter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The researchers found that 70 % of those surveyed turned off the lights more often, 50 % turned off the heating more often, 30 % saved less often by staying indoors, and 60 % changed their bathing habits.
