The British scientist will coordinate the project &#8216;ResourceQ &#8211; Unifying and optimising quantum resources.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8216;With this project, we want to deepen our understanding of quantum computers and what makes them faster than their classical counterparts. \u201cThis knowledge will bring us closer to creating practical industrial applications for such devices&#8217;, said Dr Selby.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The academic partner of the initiative is the German Institute for Theoretical Physics at Leibniz University Hannover, the industrial partner is the French company Quandela and the industrial advisor to help create practical applications is the German company TWT Science &amp; Innovation.
